Icelandic Food is an eight episode TV series in Icelandic. It tells the story of how Icelandic nature is transformed into food through the capable hands, tradition and ingenuity of farmers, fishermen and countless other food professionals in harmony with nature and society. It was originally shown on The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service (RUV) in 2016. About 60% of the interviewees were women but about 40% were men. Author and narrator is Svavar Halldórsson.
